Joakim Isbjörk

I lead the product team at Roaring. I set product priorities, connect our roadmap to customer needs and business goals, and develop how the team discovers, validates and builds products.

My leadership experience began before tech, in social care. I was responsible for people and the day-to-day running of services. That experience still informs how I lead: making expectations clear, supporting people through change and taking responsibility for how the work is carried out.

Today, a central part of my work is developing how we use AI, both in our products and in product development. That means deciding where it adds value, establishing working practices and giving the team room to experiment. I want us to test ideas earlier and pursue opportunities that previously required more time or resources.

My work with data and risk also requires a deeper understanding of AI systems: where models belong, how their outputs are checked and how decisions can be explained afterwards. That understanding informs product choices and the boundaries we set around automation. People remain accountable for decisions and results.
